Following the news of her passing, several Korean celebrities paid their respects to Kim. Actor Kim Ok-bin expressed, “May you rest in peace,” alongside an image of a white chrysanthemum, a flower that represents mourning in many Asian cultures. Kim Min-che, her co-star in “The Neighbors,” shared a scene from the movie, stating, “I was so happy to meet you as my mother in the movie. May you rest in peace”.
