Manager A Denies Allegations of Attendance Manipulation

Amid ongoing controversy regarding WINNER’s Mino and allegations of manipulation of his attendance as a social service worker, Manager A has firmly denied these claims. Speaking to Star News, he stated that Mino’s attendance was recorded according to the standards set by the Military Manpower Administration (MMA).

  • Attendance Verification Process: Manager A explained, “I saw him once a day. I checked to see if he came to work and received his signature. Since I’m not only managing Mino, I may not have checked in the morning when I was busy. For that, the MMA can check through the CCTV.”

Health Status and Classification of Mino

Unfit for Alternative Service

Manager A further revealed that Mino had been classified as unfit for alternative service around March-April. He noted that Mino received a Grade 4 classification during his physical examination and is currently undergoing treatment for panic disorder and bipolar disorder.

  • Discharge Recommendations: “After talking with the MMA, I decided that he could be discharged as he was unfit for service, and I even recommended it to him,” Manager A stated. He mentioned that a similar case had seen a soldier discharged after just two months.

Mino’s Decision to Continue Service

Commitment to His Career

Despite being advised to seek discharge due to his health condition, Mino reportedly chose to continue his service. Manager A emphasized Mino’s strong willpower, stating, “He said he had to endure it somehow and complete his service period if he wanted to continue his entertainment career.”

  • Dedication to Duty: This commitment highlights Mino’s determination to fulfill his obligations despite the challenges posed by his health issues.

Recent Developments in the Investigation

Allegations of Dereliction of Duty

Recently, Dispatch reported suspicions of dereliction of duty concerning Mino after he transferred his work location from the Mapo Facility Management Corporation to the Mapo Resident Convenience Facility in March. This shift has raised questions about his adherence to responsibilities as a social service worker.

  • Ongoing Scrutiny: The situation continues to unfold as both fans and authorities closely monitor the developments surrounding these allegations.

As the investigation into WINNER’s Mino progresses, the statements from Manager A shed light on the complexities surrounding military service obligations for entertainers. The situation underscores the challenges faced by public figures in balancing their careers with personal health issues and societal expectations. As more information emerges, fans remain hopeful for clarity and resolution regarding these serious allegations.
